BEER N3RD is a website created by local beer brewer and beer enthusiast Joel Crowley. The site helps guide and teach home brewers and hobby brewers how to make great-tasting beer. The site was created out from the fusion of Joel's nerdy love of science and beer.
PROJECT
We collaborated with the creator of BEER N3RD to create a library of images to be featured his new site and social media. We seized the opportunity to get creative with this unconventional business and built on the idea of a mad scientist to reflect Joel's unique personality and the mission of BEER N3RD. We went for a more comic style and the shoot really took off from there - literally. It isn’t every day that you get to strap a beer keg on someone and tell them to fly.
