WINGIN IT

Since 2005, Wingin’ It! has established itself as the premiere high school improv comedy troupe in Pennsylvania by regularly selling out performances to over 200 audience members, training with top improvisers at The Second City, and iO, and traveling to the Toronto International Improv Festival. Selected through highly competitive auditions, the twelve members of Wingin’ It! practice weekly with faculty director Matt Fahnestock as they develop teamwork, listening skills, and the ability to think on their feet. The troupe performs throughout the year at Carlisle High School and other venues throughout central Pennsylvania.  

ASSIGNMENT

Improv shows are always better when there's an audience so we were brought in to help give Wingin' It! some fun, high-quality images for their promotional materials. We met up with them after a practice session at Carlisle High School and got the opportunity to hang out with these crazy kids for a few hours. In many of our professional shoots, we have to work hard to get our clients comfortable in front the camera and open up to our ideas, but that was not a problem with this bunch. We said jump and they said how high. We said everyone smash your face up against this cage like your an animal trying to break out and they said "grrrr."
